Why Donate or Why Get Involved?

Twice each year HRN  purchases hundreds of thousands of pounds of healthy, protein-rich chicken. Protein is the most expensive, least available, and most sought after food product for all organizations feeding those in need. HRN is the only organization that focuses on providing this healthy food staple. Hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters have been the recipients of this important food.

On Poultry to Pantries Delivery Days scores of trucks of all shapes and sizes pull up to our distribution center to receive their cases or pallet loads of chicken to take  back to their organizations across Chicagoland to feed those in need.

You don’t have to go to a third world country to see hunger. Hunger is here! It’s in our communities and in our neighborhoods today and it will continue to be here tomorrow, unless we choose to make a difference.
