ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

Hunger Resource Network

Hunger Resource Network has an all-volunteer Board and is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the alleviation of hunger by making connections between those who have surplus food and those who need it. We do this currently through our Community Outreach Days - Poultry to Pantries.

Hunger Resource Network (HRN) was founded in April, 2009 and certified as a 501(c)(3) in July of that same year. HRN does not serve individuals directly, but rather coordinates services through recipient agencies.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to aid in the alleviation of hunger by helping meet the needs of food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

We are unique - and here's why!

We have an all-volunteer Board.

We provide high quality protein to our recipient agencies at no cost to them.

We serve many agencies that are too small to be served by larger organizations.

We make connections between those who have surplus food and those who need it.
